Dysmorphia

I recall the shape
I thought I'd recorded on a glance
To keep a trace
Of the resemblance of your face.

As we disconnect,
I remember at pace
Shape to volume
Of your embrace
And it's a scattered bunch of impatience,
A whole sea of sensations,
For in waves still I tremble
At craving the full remembrance,
And I can't reassemble.

I dissect with devotion
Every shape of your smile
And it haunts me to lose them
As they fade
In my inner ocean,
As they were the most tender
And still I
Can't remember.
